Okay, I feel as if I have hit a rut in life. I get up every day, go to work, talk to the same people every day (although, don't get me wrong, the people I see every day are great), go to the gym, come home and crash, sleep and start over the very next day. How do you stop it?! I need to have something interesting and spontaneous happen so that I feel like I am a human being again, you know? Any suggestions would be helpful, but here are a few things I have thought of that might help me and any others of you who are in a similar situation:
1. every night, pick someone new from the phone book to call and pretend that you are a long lost relative
2. drive a different route than usual to and from work
3. join a book club
4. go for an evening bike ride
5. go dancing
um...I am running out of ideas, any other suggestions that are better than these (which wouldn't be hard) are appreciated

CAR TROUBLE ANYONE?

“Dance with a girl three times, and if you like the light of her eye and the tone of voice with which she, breathless, answers your little questions about horseflesh and music about affairs masculine and feminine, then take the leap in the dark”
-Anthony Trollope (English Novelist)

Isn't it crazy how life can slow down and become busier all at the same time? Or am I the only one who experiences that...
Work is going well, pretty steady and I am enjoying my job for the most part. I was taking a class this summer, but that didn't end up working out, and being in the RS presidency is coming to an end. I should have all the time in the world, right?
WRONG
I have been helping out in the yard more this year (I will have to post some pictures), I am trying to go to ward activities more, and I am going to start taking piano lessons again! (YAY!!) My previous teacher decided that she would accept me back, flaws and all. Although I am sure she is hoping that she can fix some of them, or that they have gone away in the past 4 years since I took from her. I think that being a teacher myself has given me a greater appreciation for what she went through with me: trying to get me to practice, explaining something that is so obvious to me to someone who has no clue about it, and the frustration of hearing the same song with no improvements for weeks on end...even though they promise that they have been practicing.
Anyway, I am extremely excited to begin taking lessons again. It is so much easier when there is someone looking forward to hearing what you worked on, has constructive criticism, and is counting on you to not waste their time.

" A man's face is his autobiography. A woman's face is her work of fiction"
--Oscar Wilde

This quote is kind of interesting to think about. Any comments or personal thoughts about it?

New Car...EEEK!!!

Alright everyone, I finally did it. As of today I am a proud owner of a new car! It is time to say goodbye to my longtime friend and travel buddy, the 14 year old Volkswagon Jetta. It has given me hours of enjoyment, company for those cold mornings, and I know some of my friends really enjoyed it too. Here are some pictures of my new companion and I look forward to a long and healthy relationship! Any name suggestions? I was never quite able to find one that fit my Jetta, any suggestions are welcome!

Okay, I know it has been a long time so here I am, doing a new post to update you all on my very exciting life. I have had a cold for the past week and a half which has been all that I hoped for...and more. But I believe it's on its way out, the little white blood cells are finally gaining some ground. I went to a Jazz game last Monday with my friend Anita, her roommate Christine and her boyfriend which was really fun. We won the game, but the problem with the cheap seats is who else can afford the cheap seats. First of all, we were pretty much 2 rows from the very top of the stadium, second there were about fifteen 12 year olds sitting behind us, and they were kicking the back of my seat, and they were SO LOUD!!! I think we all decided that we would be willing to pay a little bit more for better seats

The next exciting thing that has happened to me recently was that my sister Brooke had her baby!!

This is from when he was either a few hours or a day or two old...cute huh!

They named him Kyle Jacob Lemburg and unfortunately since I have been sick, I have yet to meet him in person. I hope to remedy that this weekend.

Here is another picture of him at a week old, and with his older brother

So things should start getting pretty interesting from here on out, and I will try to keep you all updated on all of it!

...thanks for you patience..hehe
